Do I need a wallet to search?

No. Search and inspect name records first. Connect only when you want to register or manage a name.

Will .arc work in every wallet?

No. Wallets and apps must integrate ANS resolution. Adding Arc Network alone does not enable name support.

Can I keep a name forever?

Names are registered for a fixed period. Renew to retain ownership. After expiry and the grace period, a name may become available again.
